50% of net premium subscription revenue
goes to the Writers' Pool.
Every month, Typewryter shares part of its premium income with eligible active writers using a fair hybrid model: one part rewards participation, the other rewards reader engagement.
Premium readers pay monthly to continue stories after Chapter 1. New accounts also receive a 30-day premium trial.
A percentage of net subscription revenue, after payment fees, taxes, refunds, and platform costs, is reserved for writers.
The pool is split two ways: a base share for active writers, and a performance share based on real reader engagement.
Distributed among eligible active writers. This protects new writers and rewards consistent participation.
Distributed by reader engagement: premium reads, completed chapters, comments, reactions, votes, and subscriber referrals.
Why write on Typewryter?
Writer earnings depend on net subscription revenue, eligibility, reader engagement, and the official Typewryter payment policy. Earnings are not guaranteed. Full terms in our Terms of Use.
